This year, I had the opportunity to spend three days in this magnificent city. Amsterdam is unique in many ways, and it's one of those cities that everyone talks about, but you only know what it is like once you are there and want to stay. It's very welcoming, walkable, and charming. I left wanting to stay longer and see other parts of the city that I didn't get to see, but next year, I will be back there for the third edition of my association, the ASTA River Cruise Expo conference, and I can't wait to get there!

I have been to Italy five times, and my first time was not a great experience when I arrived at the airport. Still, the second time, I spent three full days exploring every single corner of the city, and I walked until my shoes broke down, and I had to stop and buy a new pair to continue walking that night. I loved my experience so much that I keep returning to this country full of history and lots to explore. In today's blog, I want to share the article "When in Rome" by Margarita Hirapetian, which can be found in our July Travel Magazine issue.
Cuba is in crisis. The country is facing a shortage of crude oil, rising food prices, and plummeting salaries. This has led to widespread poverty and desperation, and many people are considering leaving the country for a better life. I had to make an emergency trip home because of family health issues and bring medicine, medical supplies and food. The shortage of crude oil has led to power outages and fuel shortages, which have disrupted transportation and production. This has negatively impacted the economy, making it difficult for people to get around and access basic necessities.
I was fortunate to spend two weeks in Costa Rica a few years ago and enjoy the diverse environment of this beautiful country. I rented a car and drove down the Pacific coast, and spent a few nights in two different towns: Brasilito and Manuel Antonio. I went hiking, horseback riding, biking around Puerto Limon, hung out at the beach guarding my food against the monkeys, and took a bus ride to the Caribbean for a more layback stay by the beach. Those were incredible adventures. However, I have never crossed a suspended bridge because I fear heights!
River cruising is a growing trend in the travel industry, offering a unique and relaxing way to explore some of the world's most beautiful and historic destinations. I love to dance, and Tango is one of Argentina's most fascinating dance styles. Besides being a wealthy country with many different styles of dancing and music, Tango is my favorite. But Argentina is also a diverse city with much to explore. If you are ready to tango and more, keep reading some inspiring ideas from my college, Ignacio Maza, below.
