I arrived in San Francisco today for the American Society of Travel Advisors Global Convention, and I didn't get to walk around a lot today, but the one thing I didn't want to miss was the sunset. I went up to the 46th floor of the Hilton Hotel CityScape bar to ensure I had the perfect spot to experience the sunset. I enjoyed the beautiful view, no matter how hot it felt through the glass. The clouds were moving across the top of the hills as if they were swimming from north to south as the sun made its way down, creating golden colors on the horizon. 

I have not visited Iceland, but I'm starting to feel excited about this exotic destination. ​Last year when I went to the Signature Travel Network business conference, my fellow travel advisors convinced me to go on a night adventure at the FlyOver flying adventure center.  
I didn’t want to go because I was entirely sure it would be like riding a roller coaster and they said no, no, it’s not that bad. I didn’t know what I was in for. When we entered the building, it was all dark, and they had this round hole with images of the universe and went on to tell earth stories, and how we got here. That part was excellent.  Once that was over, they took us to our seats, and we were strapped in. I knew then that it was going to be like a roller coaster. My heart is pumping so fast now as I write this because it just brings back the same feelings and emotions of that night. I was frightened and could not breathe, but my friend grabbed my hand and kept trying to keep me calm.
