Last year when I went to the Signature Travel Network business conference, my fellow travel advisors convinced me to go on a night adventure at the FlyOver flying adventure center.
I didn’t want to go because I was entirely sure it would be like riding a roller coaster and they said no, no, it’s not that bad. I didn’t know what I was in for. When we entered the building, it was all dark, and they had this round hole with images of the universe and went on to tell earth stories, and how we got here. That part was excellent. Once that was over, they took us to our seats, and we were strapped in. I knew then that it was going to be like a roller coaster. My heart is pumping so fast now as I write this because it just brings back the same feelings and emotions of that night. I was frightened and could not breathe, but my friend grabbed my hand and kept trying to keep me calm.
The enormous white screen started showcasing gorgeous images of Iceland. It’s valleys, mountains, rivers, snowcaps, and a beautiful town. It was just like being there, but still, I was scared. The motions were fast when going down through the picks of the mountains and slow when flying over valleys. No matter how I felt at that moment, I genuinely believe that you all should visit Iceland.
There are no words to describe how gorgeous it is even though I have not been there physically, but I felt like I was when I did the FlyOver experience. However, the one person who can tell you more about Iceland is Ignacio Maza who was there and has written about the beautiful hotel REYKJAVIK EDITION, Iceland. Ignacio recently visited Reykjavik, and stayed at the Reykjavik Edition hotel.
