I recently had the opportunity to visit Panamá City, Panama, and I was absolutely blown away by all that this vibrant city has to offer. From its stunning architecture and delicious cuisine to its rich history and culture, there is something for everyone in Panamá City. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Panamá Canal. This engineering marvel is one of the most important shipping routes in the world, and it's truly awe-inspiring to see up close. I took a boat tour of the canal, which allowed me to learn about its history and operation. Seeing the massive ships passing through the canal locks was also excellent. Another highlight of my trip was visiting Sony Island. This private island is located in Panama Bay, where a peaceful ambiance can be experienced. You can also enjoy hiking trails, caving, kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or hanging out on a hammock by the beach. I traveled with a couple of clients, and we booked a few tours, including one to the Gamboa area, home to various wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, and frogs. I even got to see a Capuchin and Titi monkeys up close. It was an unforgettable experience. In addition to its natural beauty, Panamá City is also a great place to experience Latin American culture. Although I am a vegetarian, I enjoyed trying some of their traditional Panamanian dishes and plenty of fruits and vegetables. My fellow travelers were able to enjoy dishes like sancocho and ceviche. The one thing you should experience while in Panamá is the ships passing through the locks. It's a unique experience. One of my favorite things about Panamá City is the people. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed talking to the locals about their culture and way of life. Should you be looking for a tropical paradise with something for everyone, I highly recommend visiting Panamá City. You won't be disappointed!
