What is a Future Cruise Credit and How Do I Use It?

​When cruise sailings are greatly affected or canceled, a future cruise credit (FCC) is the common form of payment. But what is an FCC? It is similar to a gift certificate that can be used towards booking a new sailing. Right now, due to the Covid-19 crisis, many cruise lines are issuing future cruise credits (FCC) instead of refunding your trip.
