Are you missing the days where you can sit by the ocean and enjoy the sunset or sunrise? Well, me too and I can't wait for you to explore this gorgeous destination in the Bahamas. To be honest, I rather take you to see the sunset and sunrise in Cuba but that's not an option right now since the country is still close. People are trying to survive in the island like they always do "resolviendo" (resolving) or figuring out what's for dinner today. I'm hoping to take a group to Cuba in June, God willing and should you be up for the challenge to come along with me to help support the Cuban people, I can make that possible. We will stay in private homes so the money will support the owner and his/her family and go to private restaurants. You can also bring donations which are very much appreciate it. People mostly need food and money but things like toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, school supplies, etc can bring a smile to someone's face. That's basically how we can help the Cuban people during these hard times. Tourism is the number one source of income for the island and now is pretty much zero tourism. With the closing of the borders and the restrictions of sending money via Western Union, it's impossible to send money to families in Cuba. When you are ready to join me on a tour to the island, just head over to the TOURS page and book it so we can start planning the trip right away. Back to SunsetsSunsets 🌅 are my favorite thing to watch while on vacation. You can be enjoying gorgeous sunsets while hanging out at a cabana or a hammock in your villa at this incredibly beautiful getaway at Fowl Cay Resort. I can feel the breeze of the ocean touching my face already 😆 or maybe I'm just mentally there for you feeling the Caribbean vibe 🧘🏽♀️ The Resort is set on a 50-acre private island in the Central Exumas and consists of 6 private Villas: - One 1-bedroom Villa - Three 2-bedroom Villas - Two 3-bedroom Villas Each Villa is located on the water 💦 and has a fully stocked and fully equipped kitchen. The resort provides a small motorboat 🚤 with each villa so guests can spend their days exploring the beautiful and undiscovered waters in the Central Exumas. The resort is the perfect combination of being on your own while having all the infrastructure and amenities of a full resort 🏩. Your Villa Host/Hostess will ensure your stay is worry-free and all the logistical decisions are thought-out for you. In the mornings, your villa host/hostess will deliver your fresh pastry basket🥙, fruit platter and provide your daily menu, weather and tides report via your villa phone ☎️. They will help to coordinate your lunch plans, whether it’s a picnic to take in your boat to a deserted island or a simple salad 🥗 by the pool. Your refrigerator will be stocked whenever you run out of anything and they will provide you with an end of the day, turn-down service. They are behind the scenes but are there whenever you need them.
