Are you missing the days where you can sit by the ocean and enjoy the sunset or sunrise? Well, me too and I can't wait for you to explore this gorgeous destination in the Bahamas. 

To be honest, I rather take you to see the sunset and sunrise in Cuba but that's not an option right now since the country is still close. People are trying to survive in the island like they always do "resolviendo" (resolving) or figuring out what's for dinner today. I'm hoping to take a group to Cuba in June, God willing and should you be up for the challenge to come along with me to help support the Cuban people, I can make that possible. We will stay in private homes so the money will support the owner and his/her family and go to private restaurants. You can also bring donations which are very much appreciate it. 
People mostly need food and money but things like toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, school supplies, etc can bring a smile to someone's face. That's basically how we can help the Cuban people during these hard times. Tourism is the number one source of income for the island and now is pretty much zero tourism. With the closing of the borders and the restrictions of sending money via Western Union, it's impossible to send money to families in Cuba. Sheyla was born and raised in Cuba. Moved to the United States 20 years ago after meeting her husband at her beloved island when she was performing with a band at the Riviera Hotel in Havana.
