Happy and Adventurous New Decade!

What will you accomplish this year and the decade ahead?

Last year was an extremely busy year for me. I had traveled four times back home with amazing people exploring my beloved island and also went to Spain and Italy. I spent a lot of time studying and getting new certifications from our new partners, and I can't wait to help you plan your next getaway. 

Although I have shared several times in my newsletters and social media posts that YES, you can travel to Cuba, many people still say, "oh, I thought that was all canceled." There are still ten general licenses under which you can travel legally to Cuba, and the most popular one is the "Support for the Cuban People." In recent news, flights to provinces outside Havana have been cancel by the Trump Administration, but flights to Havana are still available through Southwests, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue. Should you like to travel outside of Havana, you would have to hire a car or take a bus. Traveling through the island on a bus is comfortable, but very long as cities are more than three hours away from Havana. Our first tour of 2020 is coming up. I will be heading to Cuba on February 19th with a group of ladies from Nashville. I hope you can join me too very soon.

Travel advisory to china

As you know, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The viral outbreak has resulted in thousands of confirmed cases in China, including cases outside Wuhan City, additional cases have been identified in a growing number of other international locations, including the United States. For its part, yesterday the U.S. State Department changed its travel advisory for China to Level 4 - Do Not Travel,  stating “Do not travel to China due to novel coronavirus first identified in Wuhan, China. On January 30, the World Health Organization has determined the rapidly spreading outbreak constitutes a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Travelers should be prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.  Commercial carriers have reduced or suspended routes to and from China.” Please check the State Department for the latest update.
