Cuba Here We Come

It has been a couple of hard years but I am thrilled to go back to my homeland and hug my family. It was February 2020 when we were in Cuba with a group of ladies from Nashville. We made it back just in time before the whole world shut down. This coming June 29th, I will be taking another group to the island on a special Motorcycle Tour.

Traveling to an island where things are full of constant changes and chaos can be overwhelming and very attractive at the same time. People are very humble and welcoming. These guided tours give you an opportunity to get to know the island from knowledgeable tour guides who are totally independent. So, when working with them you are supporting them and their families.

During this 5 days tour, they are going to experience a motorcycle tour to Pinar del Río traveling through off the beaten path of the western province and tobacco plantations. They will be interacting with the locals, dining and staying at a Casa Particular so they can support more local entrepreneurs. They will also be visiting a community project called Muraleando where a group of artists create and beautify the neighborhood.

It will be a short tour but it will for sure impact the lives of the people they get in touch with and I will be able to visit my family for a little bit. Hopefully, this will be one of the many tours to Cuba moving forward.
