By now, you may have heard that new U.S. travel restrictions have been put in place toward Cuba. Under these updated regulations, travelers are no longer allowed to bring Cuban cigars or Cuban rum back into the United States. But here's the good news: you can still enjoy as much rum and cigars in Cuba as you'd like—while you're on the island! And more importantly, you can still legally travel to Cuba under the “Support for the Cuban People” general license. It’s official—we now have a travel blog! 🎉 I’m thrilled to finally have a space where I can share insider tips, tour experiences, and updates about traveling to Cuba. Whether you’re planning your first trip or returning to explore deeper, this blog is your go-to guide for authentic Cuban adventures.
Updated January 13, 2026: We’ve refreshed this guide to reflect the latest travel tips, authentic experiences, and ways to support the Cuban people in 2026. From staying in Casas Particulares and dining at Paladars to bringing essential medical supplies, this updated version will help you travel responsibly and make a meaningful impact while enjoying the magic of Cuba. |
