For me, Cuba has always been more than a destination.
It is where my story began.  It is my family, my culture, my music, my memories, and the place that shaped the person I became.  Every time I return, I am reminded that travel is not only about the places we see—it is about the people who welcome us, the stories we carry home, and the connections that stay with us long after we leave.
That belief is at the heart of why I created the Cuba Humanitarian Journey.

Killarney became our home for several days as we explored Ireland’s breathtaking Ring of Kerry.  Unlike the oversized coach tours that seem determined to race from one viewpoint to the next, we embraced a slower rhythm—one that allowed us to experience Ireland rather than check it off a list.

One of the most memorable moments came at a family-owned sheep farm tucked into the rolling green hills of County Kerry.

​July 2026 Update: The rush to Cuba is on.  The numbers don’t lie.  This past week, our Support for the Cuban People trip page had 68 views, up 80% from the week before.  Visits to our Contact page jumped 30%.  People are done waiting.
With US policy always in flux and airlines shifting routes, travelers are locking in legal trips to Cuba now, while they can.
